Before the Wild Areas Network was born, Polish wilderness research camps and bird ringing camps weren't widely available to English-speaking Volunteers. However, in Poland some of them have over half a century of tradition. They are organized in cooperation with top Polish universities, government institutions and NGOs.

On the camp you will work alongside environmental professionals and scientists willing to support you and share their knowledge on a daily basis. You will complete an intensive vocational training, a step-stone for your career in conservation.

You will meet like-minded Enthusiasts, exchange experiences and make lifelong friends. Until now we've swapped stories from Sahara, Siberia, South Africa, Antarctica, India, Costa Rica, Galapagos...

We are here to share our passions and work towards the common goal - protection of Europe's natural wonders and promoting them to the international Public.
